Sorghum Flakes – 250 gm
Oil – ¼ cup
Mustard – 1 tsp
Curry Leaves – 10
Ginger – 1 inch crushed
Green Chilly – 10
Mixed Vegetables – 1 cup boiled
Sugar – 1 tsp
Salt – ½ tbsp(or as needed)
Lemon – 1 tsp (optional)
Soak Sorghum Flakes in water for 5 mins and transfer to colander to drain for 5 mins.
In a thick bottom pan heat oil and temper mustard, curry leaves, ginger and green chilly
Add Boiled Mixed Vegetables and fry a minute. Now add Sorghum Flakes, Sugar, Salt and Lemon and Mix.
Cover the lid and lower the flame and heat for 2 minutes. Your Sorghum Flakes Upma is ready to be served
