Ragi Apple Pancake for Babies, Toddlers and Kids

When we worked the combination of Ragi with Apple we rendered the healthy Ragi Apple Pancakes for babies, toddlers and kids. Well not to forget, we can include our family too, this recipe was designed to cater all the ages.

Ingredients

  1. Ragi – ½ cup
  2. Rice flour – ¼ cup
  3. Apple – ½ grated or pureed
  4. Banana – 1 medium size
  5. Milk - 3/4 to 1 cup
  6. Ghee - 1 tsp

Method

  1. Firstly peel and mash 1 medium sized Banana in a clean glass bowl. Secondly grate washed and peeled 1/2 portion of Apple in a plate.
  2. Transfer the grated Apple to a clean mixing glass bowl and to this add the mashed Banana and Ragi Flour - 1/4 cup, Rice flour - 1/4 cup and finally add about 3/4 cup of Milk to this and mix well. Please note the consistency of the Ragi Apple Pancake needs to be thick and not flowing. Add Milk accordingly.
  3. Once the batter for Ragi Apple Pancake is ready spread it on to a heated non-sticky tava for cooking. Close the lid to cook well.
  4. Add Ghee to the Ragi Apple Pancake batter  and cook both sides. Serve it hot.
  5. Tasty nutritious Ragi Apple Pancake is ready to serve for your toddlers and babies and kids. A fantastic option for your toddlers and kids lunch box.
