Mashed Vegetable Rice for Babies & Toddlers

Mashed Vegetable Rice for Babies & Toddlers hindi kannada shishu ahar 8 months baby food

In the early days of weaning it is important to introduce texture to babies. If not babies continue to eat only pureed food which later becomes very difficult for them to adapt to family food. This Mashed Vegetable Rice is an easy and very common way of introducing textures in baby food. Here I’ve used mixed vegetables and rice you can even add any lentils. This can be given to babies above 6 months whenever you feel your baby is ready for textures.

Vegetables play a very vital role in growing babies. These provide the required vitamins, nutrients for a healthy growth. Its always good to choose organic vegetables for babies. Also I’ve used rice here and you can replace it with any millets of your choice. I’ve pressure cooked the vegetables and rice here you can choose to pan cook which may take a little more time and monitoring.
