Ingredients

Foxtail Millets - 2 cup

Uncooked Rice - 1/2 cup

Urad Dal - 1 cup

Methi/Fenugreek  Seeds - 1/2 tsp

Method

1. Keep all the ingredients ready.

2. Add Foxtail Millet and Rice in a bowl, add sufficient water, squeeze and wash, strain and soak it seperately for 4 to 5 hours.

3. In another bowl, take Urad Dal and Methi Seeds/Fenugreek seeds and add sufficient water, squeeze and wash, strain and soak it seperately for 4 to 5 hours.

4. Add the Rice and Foxtail Millet mixture in the mixer, grind finely for a coarse texture.

5. Transfer the grinder mixture to a big glass bowl.

6. Now add the soaked urad dal and methi seeds in a mixer, grind well for a smooth texture. Once the batter is ready, transfer it to the glass bowl containing the previous mixture.

7. Add required amount of Salt and allow the Foxtail Millet Dosa batter to ferment for 8 hours.

9.After fermentation of 8 hours, the fluffy batter is ready. Water is added accordingly to bring it to Dosa Batter consistency.

10. Foxtail Millet Dosa batter is poured on the preheated non-stick tava, required amount of oil is used, for light crispy healthy Foxtail Millet Dosa.

11. Our Foxtail Millet Dosa is ready to be served.
