Dry Fruits Sauce can be given to babies above 8 months. 1 tsp of this can added to baby’s porridge once in a while to make it more nourishing. For toddlers and kids you can give it as a dip with finger foods, spread it as a jam on their roti or bread and serve. You can also serve this along with their favorite pancakes. As these are naturally sweetened you can even add it to kids favorite health drinks or milkshakes.

Ingredients
- Dates - 10
- Raisins - 30
- Prunes - 10
- Cashewnuts - 20
- Almonds - 10
- Water - 1 cup
Method
- . Take a wide pan and boil a cup of water in it. Add dates, raisins, prunes, cashewnuts and almonds one by one.
- Cover the lid and allow it to soak for 20 minutes. You can even soak it overnight in normal water if time permits. Once soaked they would become soft and fluffy.
- Now put it on low flame and cook for another 20-30 minutes till the water is reduced to 1/4th. Cool the mixture and transfer the ingredients to a blender jar.
- Blend it to a smooth puree.
- Dry Fruits Sauce is ready.

Note :
- Dry Fruits Sauce can be customized as required, you can use any variations of dry fruits here.
- With addition of raisins and prunes this turned out sweet and sour. You can reduce these two and add more dates in case you want to avoid sour taste.
- This can be stored in refrigerator for a week and used.
