Instant Savory Oats Pancake for Babies, Toddlers & Kids

Have a toddler or baby at home, who likes spicy version of most foods? And you wish to keep it healthy? This recipe is instant and suffice both your requirements. Be it breakfast or snack time, try this yummy Oats Pancake or Oats Dosa for sure.

Ingredients

  1. Oats powder – 2 cups
  2. Chickpea flour/Besan – 1 cup
  3. Carrot – 1 grated
  4. Onion – 1 chopped
  5. Coriander leaves
  6. Coriander powder – 1 tsp
  7. Pepper powder – 2 tsp
  8. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
  9. Salt
  10. Curds – 1 cup
  11. Water

Method

  1. Oats powder 1 cup and chickpea powder 1 cup is added to a big mixing bowl.
  2. Grated carrot 1 cup and chopped onion 1 cup is added to the flour mixture.
  3. Add finely chopped coriander leaves, 1 tsp of coriander powder, 2 tsp of pepper powder, turmeric powder 1 tsp and salt as required for and mix thoroughly.
  4. 1 cup curds is added to the above mixture and mixed well, this helps in binding and for a crispier pancake.
  5. Required quantity of water is added to get a proper thick consistency as in the video, to pour the Oats pancake batter.
  6. The batter is spread on a preheated non-stick tava and required quantity of oil is poured to cook the batter.
  7. Serve the cooked Oats Pancake hot.
