Chickpea Sathu Patties for Toddlers and Kids

A nutritious snack using Chickpeas and Sprouted Health Mix for babies, toddlers, kids and adults

Ingredients

  • Boiled Chickpeas/Kabuli Chana - 1 cup
  • Sprouted  Sathumaavu Health Mix or Rice Flour - 2 tbsp
  • Chilly Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric - a pinch
  • Salt - as needed (no salt for babies)
  • Ginger - 1/2 inch
  • Garlic - 3-4 pods
  • Fresh Coriander - little chopped

Method

  • Soak Kabuli Chana or Chickpea for 8 hours and cook it till soft. Keep all other ingredients ready.
  • Take 1 cup Boiled Chana in a bowl and mash it by hand or blender.
  • Add Sprouted Sathu Mavu or Rice Flour, Chilly Powder, Garam Masala, Salt.
  • Grate Ginger and Garlic to the same bowl
  • Add Fresh Coriander finally, mix and make a soft dough.
  • Make small balls and press them to make patties.
  • Cook both sides on medium flame till golden brown.
